What is Nashua Scrum Club's Purpose?Nashua Scrum Club is a professional organization where people can learn and apply agile project management and advanced technical practices while giving back to the community. We're a chapter of Scrum Club, founded by Amanda Abelove. Amanda noticed a few needs and envisioned Scrum Club as a way to fill those needs.
We were inspired by Amanda's vision and decided to set up a chapter in Nashua. A group of us met every few weeks at Panera Bread in Nashua to plan the club's launch and had our first meeting in September of 2009. Initially we focused on simply having speakers at our meetings, but recently have gotten a few agile-based projects for non-profits going. One, for a local public library, is well underway. The second, helping build an organization's capacity for donor cultivation and management is in its early stages. We've a registered non-profit in the state of New Hampshire and will soon be filing for federal non-profit status. We're hoping that we'll be able to attract donors to help us with our work. Nashua Scrum Club is a club for its members, continually in a state of evolution and exploration. We'd love to have you participate as a member, as a team member on one of our projects or as a club organizer. Please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
